Dissection
One half cephalus will be delivered to each tutor.
“One per one” The tutors will guide the trainees in terms of “one per one”.
The main steps:
Exploration of middle ear, Stapedectomy, Cortical Mastoidectomy, Anterior tympanotomy, Epitympanic recess, Posterior tympanotomy, Cochleostomy, Facial decompression, Labyrinthectomy, Exploration of internal auditory meatus.
Special applications:
- Balloon Eustachian Tuboplasty (BET – as Supported by Spiggle and Theis)
- Bone bridge, sound bridge application (As supported by Medel)
- Cochlear implant insertion (as supported by Medel)
