Dear Friends & Colleagues,

Encouraged by the excellent feedback received from the participants and faculty alike, the ENT Department at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital will be organizing the above mentioned cadaveric dissection courses this year. All the courses will be held at the Learning Centre and Surgical Skills Laboratory of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. 

Building on the successful foundations laid during last year’s courses, the scientific program this year has been designed to provide structured and systematic training in all aspects of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. These intensive courses offer an excellent hands-on opportunity for Otolaryngology, Plastic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery Residents, Fellows and Consultants to expand their knowledge and surgical skills in the management of facial fractures, facial soft tissue reconstruction, facial rejuvenation surgery and rhinoplasty. The courses have been structured to maximize the time spent in wet surgical skills laboratory under close supervision of our learned faculty. The courses will be intense and practical in which world renowned surgeons will demonstrate a range of procedures to treat different pathologies.

The organizing committee has arranged an outstanding faculty from USA, Europe and Asia to share their extensive knowledge, skill and experience during the courses. The teachers of honour for these courses include internationally renowned Facial Plastic Surgeons Prof Shan R. Baker (USA), Prof Jonathan Sykes (USA), Prof Edward Ellis (USA) and Mr Ullas Raghavan (UK). The participants will also benefit from the wealth of experience offered by our outstanding multidisciplinary national faculty belonging to the fields of Otolaryngology, General Plastic Surgery, Opthalmology and Maxillofacial Surgery. This will provide an unparalleled learning opportunity for the participants.
