It is with great pleasure that I, as the EAFPS President, write to invite you to the EAFPS Annual Conference to be held in Cannes in September 24-26, 2015.

World-class surgeons and practitioners will expound the recent advances in facial plastic surgery with special emphasis on current best practice in the fields of injectables and facial rejuvenation. Over the past decade, the rate of scientific and technological progress in facial plastics has been accelerating at an unbelievable rate. The number of valuable papers published per month exceeds anyone’s ability to stay totally in synch with new ideas. The Conference in Cannes will provide an invaluable setting for teaching and learning from each other’s experiences, and facing the challenges created by the rapid rate of growth.

During the past few years, EAFPS Annual Conferences have provided a valuable basis for teaching, learning, and a productive exchange of ideas. However, at EAFPS we felt that the format of our Annual conference requires substantial changes specially designed to attract attendees by delivering cutting-edge information through newer learning platforms. This “new deal” will be inaugurated in the 2015 Annual Conference to be held in Cannes. With instructional programs in all areas of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery including energy-based devices and injectables, multi-specialties guest lecturers, and panels and videosessions on controversial topics from different perspectives, the 2015 Conference promises to be diverse and innovative. At Cannes 2015, we will also do our best to involve younger talented facial plastic surgeons in order to promote a generation of future educators and leaders.

The legendary Palais des Festivals will provide an unparalleled setting for this meeting. In Cannes, we have the unique opportunity to partner with the world renowned  F.A.C.E2f@ce Congress www.face2facecongress.com, and the great chance to work in close cooperation with the creators of F.A.C.E.2f@ce, Drs Fred Braccini, Jerome Paris and Patrick Trevidic. Fred, Jerome and Patrick will act as the co-chairmen of the conference. This partnership will provide us with the precious chance for delivering “our” message about what we are and what we do to a wider audience as well as for familiarization with a different public. The presence of numerous exhibitors has allowed us to keep the registration fee at the lowest possible level. So, another good reason to be in Cannes in September.

 I truly hope to welcome many of you on the red carpet of Palais des Festivals in Cannes, in the stunning landscape of French Riviera next September.
