Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committees, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the World Congress of Rhinology which will take place from April 30 to May 02, 2015 at the Sheraton São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.
For the first time, we will enjoy the simultaneous participation of the ISIAN, IRS, and the Rhinology at a joint meeting celebrating the 50th anniversary of the International Rhinologic Society.
During the past years, the rhinologic world has witnessed enormous progress stemming from a strong dedication to nasal and paranasal research, improvement in surgical techniques, and cooperation with the related disciplines.
The World Congress of Rhinology Meeting will bring together renowned experts from around the world to discuss the progress made in clinical care and research. This meeting will be a wonderful opportunity for otolaryngologists, neurosurgeons, facial plastic surgeons, and head and neck surgeons from all over the world to exchange ideas and present the latest scientific and clinical resources on sinonasal and skull base disorders.
I hope you will mark your calendars to join us in São Paulo for this meeting. I look forward to your partnership and support of one of the most important scientific events in the rhinologic field.
Sincerely

Prof. Sugata Takahashi - Chairman of the 30th Politzer Society Meeting
30th Politzer Society Meeting - 1st World Congress of Otology
June 30 to July 4, 2015 Niigata, Japan psm30@c-linkage.co.jp
On behalf of the local organizing committee, it is both an honor and a pleasure to announce the convening of the 30th Politzer Society Meeting in Niigata, Japan, from June 30 to July 4, 2015. The 1st World Congress of Otology is also slated to be held at the same time. Our primary objective for the meeting is to bring together up-and-coming researchers to present and actively discuss up-to-date research results from the fields of otology and neurotology. Nothing would bring me more pleasure than to see the new insights obtained at this meeting applied clinically and to future research. With a population of approximately 800,000, Niigata City is the largest city on the Sea of Japan side. Directly facing the Sea of Japan, it is calm and beautiful city, through which the longest river in Japan (the Shinano River) runs. Niigata is also known as a treasure trove of delectable foods ranging from fresh seafood to delicious, high-grade rice and Japanese sake (rice wine). Early July is the most pleasant month of the year in Niigata, and I am certain that participants of the meeting will enjoy a comfortable stay there. The local organizing committee is committed to make this meeting a memorable one for all participants. We truly hope that as many of the members of the Politzer Society as possible will be able to join us in Niigata in 2015.

Dear AAO-HNSF International Regional Advisors and Friends
It has been almost two months since Catherine Lincoln retired from the Academy. As pf you know, Catherine was truly the heart and soul of our international affairs. She touched many of lives in ways, both personally and professionally, that it would be impossible to repay. One of the programs that Catherine was so passionate about was the International Visiting Scholar program. How fitting then that we honor her legacy with a IVS in her name in perpetuity. The goal for such a campaign is $50,000 and, as you can see from Nick’s note we are already have a quarter of those funds committed. We were hoping that we could raise the additional $40,000 before the Annual Meeting in Dallas. I will plan to invite Catherine to attend that meeting as our guest. This would be a wonderful opportunity for us to tell her personally how much we have appreciated her work on our behalf and to honor her with the Catherine Lincoln IVS. What a wonderful way for us to say “Thank you” to someone who has given so much for so many years!
Please forward this message on to others within the AAO-HNSF International Community that you feel would be interested.

7th International Symposium onMenière's Diseaseand Inner Ear DisordersDear Friends and Colleagues,
I am very pleased to welcome all of you to the 7th International Symposium on Menière's Disease and Inner Ear Disorders, which will take place in Rome, Italy, from October 17th to 20th, 2015.
This is the second time that the Symposium is being held in Rome and, additionally, from the same scientific group at Sapienza University. I am therefore very grateful to the International Committee who voted for Rome at the last, successful meeting held in Kyoto in 2010.
This Symposium will offer a high quality scientific program focusing on Menière's disease and vestibular research and, following the last editions (Los Angeles, Kyoto), will cover most of the topics around the inner ear, with highlights on recent progresses in the fields of basic science, such as molecular biology, genetics, and rehabilitative procedures (cochlear and middle ear implants).
Autumn is one the most beautiful season in Rome, with the famous "ottobrate",that will join delegates and accompanying persons in the special atmosphere created by culture, shopping centers and churches.
An attractive social program for all participants, including accompanying persons, is also planned.
I look forward to welcoming you to Rome in October, 2015.
Maurizio Barbara,
MD, PhD
